The following will take you through deleting and restoring entities, and the costs associated with restoration.

You should delete an entity if you are no longer required to maintain it’s registers. Deleting the entity will ensure that no payments are incorrectly allocated.

Yes, you can restore an entity from ‘Deleted Entities’. Simply select ‘Deleted Entities’ from the left-menu and then select the restore button on the entity you wish to restore:

The fees associated with CompanyRegisters are storage fees for 365 days per entity. You will only be able to access your deleted entity’s registers if they are not expired. If they are expired, this means you will pay the fee of R135 for each year that the expired entity was stored in Deleted Entities on CompanyRegisters.

For example, if your deleted entity’s registers expired on 31/03/2023 and you wish to restore now in 2025, you will need to pay R135 to bring the expiration date to 31/03/2024, and then another R135 to bring the expiration date to 31/03/2025.
