What’s new in CompanyRegisters?
A look inside our biggest update yet!
In our latest update, we released Beneficial Ownership for Trusts – but we also included many other features. Let’s go through them and understand how the CompanyRegisters system has grown, and what’s coming next! Read until the end to sign-up for our upcoming webinar all about these new features.
Active Controllers
At CompanyRegisters, we believe that the more information you can submit to the CIPC, the better. In accordance with this, we have added an optional ‘tag’ to directors and other individuals with beneficial ownership (BO) other than shareholding. This new feature allows you to tag the individuals as “Active”, wherein they will appear on the Organogram live page and in the Beneficial Interest Register (NOTE: they will not print on the organogram if they are not marked as Active). This is up to user interpretation – if you do not want directors to display on your BO declarations, you can leave the Active box on their record unticked and they will not display.
New Buttons for Organograms
There are now 3 separate buttons for BO:
. Sec Holders (SH) – displays all security holders
. Beneficial Owners – displays all beneficial owners (add subholders for BO in this section)
. Organogram – displays the live organogram* page
“All Owners” – displays SH and BO
Multiple Share Class BO Functionality
You can now generate BO organograms for multiple share classes, by using the Refresh/Update button to switch between tables.
You can also select “All”, which will then display as a percentage of total shares (e.g Preference Shares and Common Shares combined)
